The Industrial Power Quality course covers key power quality issues that can adversely affect the operation of programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives and other sensitive electronic equipment integral to process control in all automated manufacturing environments.

Through effective single point grounding, control of harmonic currents and proper transient over voltage protection, attendees will learn to better assure a minimum amount of equipment downtime.

Designed for those with a working knowledge of AC power distributions, this two-day course including case studies and a lab emphasizes solutions to many common problems.

Each Student will receive a text-specific manual including detailed charts and graphs for future reference.

An experienced instructor who is active in professional organizations including IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA and UL Advisory leads the course. All RO Associates instructors are degreed engineers who regularly conduct power quality consulting assignments.

Class meets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and includes complimentary catered continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks.
